The boat is a 42 foot Duffy and Duffy, it`s a downeast lobster boat style, custom built for
charter fishing. Duffy and Duffy make the finest boats in the world, in my opinion. She sports a 640 horsepower Detroit Diesel
8V-92 series, dual turbochargers with a supercharger sitting on top of it. That pushes her over 20 knots. One of the fastest
fishing boats in our area. Because of the speed, we can reach areas other boats can`t due to lack of time in the day.
We have a Certificate of Inspection from the United States Coast Gaurd to carry passengers
for hire. The Certificate is for 30 people plus the crew, which means we have all the neccesary life saving equipment for
32 people. The USCG inspects the boat twice a year, once in the water and once out of the water.
We also have the latest versions of electronics, including Color Fish Finder, GPS, Chartplotter
and Radar, which is very helpful in the fog. The Captain and crew have over 40 years experience on the ocean, so we are all
well versed in its use.
